Domestic cleaning in Greenhithe and North Kent
Regular domestic cleaning costs £19 an hour, with a two hour minimum visit. If the working week has been swallowing your Saturdays, this is the bit you get back. It covers the kitchen, bathrooms, floors, surfaces and the rooms you use most, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Products and equipment are in the price and there's no call-out fee anywhere we cover. Miss something on the checklist and we'll re-clean it free within 48 hours.
What does a domestic clean include?
Every visit follows a published room-by-room checklist. Kitchen surfaces, sink and hob, both sides of the bathroom, floors vacuumed and mopped, dusting, mirrors, bins, and beds made if you'd like them made. You agree the list before the first clean and we work to it. The checklist is the contract, so you can hold us to it.
Kitchen
Worktops, sink and taps descaled, hob and splashback, outside of the cupboards and appliances, floor washed. Inside the oven is a separate job.
Bathrooms
Bath, shower screen and tiles descaled, basin, toilet cleaned inside and out, mirrors polished, floor washed.
Bedrooms
Dusting, surfaces, mirrors, the skirting we can reach without shifting heavy furniture, floors vacuumed. Beds made or changed if you leave the linen out.
Living rooms
Shelves and surfaces dusted, glass and screens taken back, sofas and chairs vacuumed, floors done, cushions straightened.
Hall and stairs
Bannisters, light switches, door handles, front door glass, stairs vacuumed and hard floors washed.
Every visit
Bins emptied and relined, window sills wiped, rubbish taken out, doors and frames spot cleaned where they're marked.
What a regular visit doesn't cover: inside the oven, inside the fridge and freezer, inside windows, ironing, and machine cleaning of carpets. They're all priced below, so nothing turns up as a surprise on the invoice.
How much does domestic cleaning cost?
£19 an hour with a two hour minimum visit. Products and equipment are included and there's no call-out fee anywhere we cover. We plan two hours for a two bedroom flat, three for a three bedroom house and four for a four bedroom house. The price is the same in every town we serve.

A worked example
Take a three bedroom house on a fortnightly visit. Three hours at £19 is £57 a visit. Add an hour of ironing at £15 and the visit is £72. Ask for the fridge to be cleaned inside as a one off and that visit is £87. None of that is estimated. You can add it up from the table above before you contact us, which is the point of publishing it.
Which cleaning service do I need?
A regular clean keeps a home you live in on top of itself. A deep clean resets one that has slipped. An end of tenancy clean is aimed at a deposit and an inventory check. An after builders clean deals with dust that ordinary cleaning spreads rather than removes. If you're between two of them, tell us on the form and we'll say which one fits.

How often should I get a cleaner?
Fortnightly suits most households. Weekly makes sense with young children, pets, shift work or a house that gets used hard. Monthly works for a couple in a flat who tidy as they go, though we plan an extra hour on that visit to catch up. Start fortnightly, then move it after three visits when you can see what the house actually needs.
Do I need to be at home when the cleaner comes?
No, and most of our regular customers will be at work. You can let us in, leave a key with a neighbour, or fit a key safe and give us the code. Whichever you choose, we agree it in writing before the first visit and we tell you who's coming. Plenty of people like to be there for the first clean and out for the rest, and that's normal.
Do I need to provide cleaning products?
No. Products and equipment sit inside the £19 an hour rate, so the quoted price is the price. We bring cloths, a vacuum, mop and the chemicals. If you'd rather we used your own products, because of an allergy, a surface or simply a preference, leave them out and we'll use those instead at no change to the rate.
What does a domestic cleaner not do?
We don't move heavy furniture, handle biohazards, clear pest infestations, work at height beyond a two step stool, or clean up after a flood or a fire. We won't tidy your possessions away unless you ask us to, because putting things somewhere sensible to us is how things get lost. Everything else on the checklist, we do.
What do North Kent homes need most from a clean?
North Kent sits on chalk, and the local water is hard. Hard water leaves limescale on taps, shower screens and inside kettles, and it comes back between visits whatever you do. That's where a regular clean earns its money here. We take the kitchen taps, the bathroom screen and the tiles back every single visit, so the scale never gets a grip in the first place.
The housing stock shapes the rest. Ingress Park in Greenhithe is a riverside development of around 1,500 homes at build-out, which means a lot of glass, balconies and open-plan kitchens where one dirty hob is the whole room. Ebbsfleet Garden City is still going up around Castle Hill, Springhead Park, Ashmere, Alkerden and Whitecliffe, so plenty of homes here are new, sealed and quick to clean, and ruthless about showing dust on white surfaces. Older housing gives you the opposite problem, deep skirting and painted woodwork that hold marks. The checklist changes shape between them. The rate doesn't.
There's a moment at the end of a kitchen when the draining board is dry, the glass is clear and the whole room is breathing again. That's the bit we do this for, and on a fortnightly visit you get it twice a month without lifting a cloth.
What does the 48-hour re-clean guarantee not cover?
Four things, and they're printed in the same place as the promise: pre-existing damage, permanent staining, mould, and areas we couldn't get to on the day. A re-clean puts right work we did badly. It can't undo wear that was already there.
Everything else on the agreed checklist is covered. Tell us within 48 hours and we'll come back and re-clean the affected areas free. No argument, no invoice. The 48 hours is simply how long you have to raise it, and we come back at the earliest time you can give us access.
You pay after the visit, once the work is done.
Before our first clean, public liability insurance will be in place and every cleaner will have a DBS check. As soon as those certificates exist they'll be published right here, and every written quote includes our insurance certificate and DBS details before you pay anything.

How much does a cleaner cost in the UK?
Rates vary by region. Bark puts Greenhithe cleaning at £17 to £23 an hour in 2026, and Checkatrade gives an average of £150 for a domestic clean in Dartford. Our rate is £19 an hour with a two hour minimum, which sits inside that local band and includes products and equipment.
Is there a minimum booking?
Two hours. Below that a cleaner spends most of the visit unpacking and packing the kit, and you don't get your money's worth. Two hours at £19 is £38. There's no call-out fee and no travel charge on top, in any town we cover.
Can I have the same cleaner every visit?
That's what we aim for, because a cleaner who knows your home works faster and misses less. If your regular cleaner is ill or on holiday we'll tell you before the visit, and you can move the slot if you'd rather wait for your own cleaner.
Do you use eco friendly products?
Prefer eco products? Tell us on the quote form and we'll use them. Products and equipment are included in the hourly rate either way, so choosing them doesn't change your price.
How do I pay, and do I pay before the clean?
You pay after the visit, once the work is done. We'd rather earn the money first. If something on the checklist was missed, tell us within 48 hours and we'll come back and re-clean it free before the question of money comes up again.
